There have been three times in my life, so utterly full of loss and pain, that I had no where to look but towards grace: watching my dad die, losing my marriage, and this past year. And for two of those times, it was an impossibility to find the grace I so desperately sought. I didn't know how.

This past year ...Angels led me to Bobbie Burdett... the gift to change my life with Bobbie as my guide: a guide unlike any other...

Bobbie, with her gentle, wise spirit, began floating and spinning and weaving questions around me: creating a safe, snug cocoon. And while I sat in the safe space she provided, Bobbie patiently allowed me to discover my own answers, my own truth: a truth that serves me, not destroys me. Bobbie held a safe space for she and I to co-create beauty from what I had viewed as once ugly. I had the answers all along, it was Bobbie's beautiful light, in the form of gentle questions, profound silence, and fierce protection that illuminated the answers I already contained.

I have never been so blessed. I have never been able to handle painful changes with such dignity and grace...until I met Bobbie. I am coming out of this situation more perfect and whole than going in. Imagine that: I thought I was losing everything and, in reality I was gaining everything. Not only do I now feel peace, but I feel joy: for the past, the present and the future!

Thank you so much, Bobbie, for being such a good soul: for having that bright, shining light, in the form of a coach, that has the gift to illuminate so many hearts and souls that yearn for that spark...even mine. Thank you for being a knower and believer, and for offering the priceless gift of a good life.

And Bobbie, always and forever, you will be in my heart. I am honored to know you and everything that has happened this past (almost) year in my life has been a thousand times worth it, because it brought me to you.

I went to Bobbie when a consuming life crisis was intensified and complicated by the separation from a man who meant a great deal to me. Her initial "first aid" was most compassionate and correct. She continued to amaze me in the sessions that followed, as we waded through the tangle of my mind, helping and supporting me toward my goal of sorting and discarding that which was encumbering.

Her sensitivity to one's immediate needs and seemingly endless store of insight, collected wisdom, information and techniques to help one cope and ultimately transform, coupled with a loving, unthreatening and supportive environment really work!

Within the first session, I acquired some new ways of approaching my situation...The way the material is presented is simple, supportive and best of all, non-judgmental. I experienced the security and freedom to tell the complete truth about myself, and in doing so I'm able to let go of some old ideas I had about myself.

Last of all, I enjoy my sessions. My work itself is a slow, serious life process. However, Bobbie has a great sense of humor! I've learned a great deal about myself through the laughter and the ability to see the comedy in the human condition.

Probably needless to say, but I will anyway. You certainly bring a lot to the coaching party. I work with several here, and you are definitely the best.

You are able to listen in depth, which is critical. Most people, of course, don't, but I also find that some aspiring coaches don't either. I personally find that your background in typology is a huge asset, because it makes it possible to clarify the issues, to really get down to cases. I would go so far as to say I can't really imagine someone being a first-rate coach without real facility with typology.

Also, your ability to handle raw emotion is exceptional. You have a fine skill to acknowledge it and work with it without "falling into it."
